Technical aspects of Knowledge Base

It is a Wiki based platform easy to edit, easy to use. You need not have technical background to use the system. I have learned it by my own and now can edit existing pages and create new pages. It's very simple.

How to edit existing text?

• First, point out the part that you want to modify.
• Click on the nearest edit option above the part you intend to modify.
• A window opens with a text box where you can modify the text.
• Click on Show Preview to verify how it will look online.
• If you are satisfied with the changes, click on Save Page.

Usually there are edit options beside all the headings of the page, however, if you cannot see any edit link; go to the top of the page and look for the edit tag. Click on it and do you editing as mentioned above.

How can I add something new to an existing page?

• First go to the page and click on the edit tag at the top of the page.
• Edit window opens; go to the bottom of the text box and add your own words.
• Click on Show Preview; if everything is fine Save the Page.

How can I add a new page?

• Go to the page from where you want to link the new page.
• Type the title of the page within [[,]] so it looks like [[Title of the new page]]
• Save the page.
• Now click on the link that you just created.
• It will take you to a new window where you can add text to the new page.
• Check from Show Preview how it looks and Save the new page.

How can I place external link?

• Click on edit page option.
• Paste the url of the page you want to link.
• Leave a space and then type the word you want to show as link.
• Enclose the whole thing within [[,]] so that it looks like [[http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/ | DebtCC]]
• See preview and save the page.
